Chapter Seven
“You’re falling for him, aren’t you?” Tatiana asked.
“Is that a bad thing?” Clarissa asked, looking out her bedroom window over the garden.
Lorenzo was speaking with the gardener. She didn’t know what he was talking about, but over the past few weeks, their relationship had changed.
She hadn’t moved back into the main bedroom; however, each night they would hang out in his office and make out, learning and exploring, and she loved every second of it.
She loved being with him. It was exhilarating, and she knew deep in her heart she wanted to go further with him.
“Not really, I guess. Let’s face it, he said a few bad things. Men can be assholes, so I guess there is no problem there.”
Clarissa winced, because Emilio had said some bad things, only it was about what he had done.
“How are you and Emilio?” Clarissa asked.
“No change, to be honest. I don’t know what he expects from me, if he even expects anything.”
“Don’t you hate this?” Clarissa asked.
There was a pause and she heard a sniffle, but it wasn’t close to the phone, so she knew Tatiana had pulled away.
“All the time. I hate it so much and it makes me sick to my stomach.”
She heard the pain in Tatiana’s voice.
“You know, I’ve watched Liana, Mia, and now you, all of you go through similar feelings, and you’ve started to forgive your husbands.
I get it. Trust me, I do. Who wants to live with a man you can’t stand?
” She let out a little laugh. “I get it more than anyone even realizes.” There was a sob.
“And I try, I do. I come down to breakfast, and I think to myself, I am going to put all of this behind me. I’m not going to think about it.
He said it’s not true and he lied, and fine, he lied.
Okay, so I can deal. Everything will be going great, then it’s like a crash and it hits me.
He said he lied, but what if he didn’t? What if he has someone else, or what if there is someone else down the line?
I don’t want to fall in love with a man that can do that. ”
Tatiana let out another sob.
“Honey.”
“I keep trying, and I know I’m ruining our lives, but should I believe what he told his friends?
What he told me? Why would someone lie like that?
” Tatiana asked. “Why do people lie in the first place? It’s fucking mean and it’s cruel, and do you know what sucks the most, I was falling in love with him.
It was a freaking fairy tale to me. I loved him so much and I knew I hit the jackpot, and it was rare.
It’s why it hurt so badly hearing what he said. How do I trust myself?”
Clarissa didn’t have any answers. “I’m so sorry.”
“It’s fine. It gives me hope. Hearing you and Lorenzo are finally able to work past it. You two have what it takes. I’ve seen the way he looks at you.”
“What?”
“Well, as you know, I was there for your wedding, we all were. The moment you walked down the aisle and the veil was lifted, I saw the way he looked at you, like you were the only woman in that room.”
“I doubt that.”
Tatiana laughed. “We’ve been to a lot of weddings, and we’ve seen men who are not happy with the woman they are marrying. Trust me when I say Lorenzo was happy you were walking down the aisle toward him.”
There was some noise on Tatiana’s end. “What is that?” Clarissa asked.
“Look, I’ve got to go, and I’ll talk to you soon. Love you, bye.”
Tatiana hung up, and Clarissa stared at her cell phone, a little taken aback. That was the strangest call she ever had with her friend.
She noticed she had a couple of texts from Mia and Liana, and she opened them up. Liana sent a picture of Diego with his son, and there was no denying it, they were an adorable family. Mia showed off her stomach, and how she was balancing a cup on her swollen belly.
Clarissa laughed and turned her cell phone off, looking down at the garden, hoping to see Lorenzo, but he wasn’t there. She frowned and turned toward the door, only to find Lorenzo there.
“Did everything go okay with the gardener?” she asked.
“Yeah, it did. Hopefully, spring or summer, you might find the surprise I have in store for you.”
“Spring or summer?” she asked.
“Yeah, I don’t know when they pop up, but you’ll see them.” He stepped into the room, and he wasn’t wearing a jacket.
She closed the distance between them and stood right in front of him, only she lost her nerve about touching him at the last minute. This happened all the time.
Lorenzo was the one to reach out, put a hand on her hip, and tug her in close. The moment she was within touching distance, she wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled up at him.
“One day, you will touch me first,” he said.
“I look forward to it.” She couldn’t help but chuckle, and then he kissed her, and she lost all sense of thought, as that kiss made her toes curl.
It started out slow, as Lorenzo got her used to the feel of his lips. Not that it was taking too long for her to love his kisses, she loved being close to him.
“I was thinking, are you ready to take it up a level?” he asked.
Her curiosity piqued. “Take it up a level?”
He nodded. “Do you trust me?”
She was so used to hesitating that even now she did, just for a second, and she saw the fleeting disappointment in his gaze.
“I trust you,” she said.
And it was like it brought life back to his gaze as he gripped the back of her neck, and this time his kiss was rough. Clarissa loved it, and she melted against him, feeling a tightness within her body. She wanted his hands on her.
She did trust him. They were building that trust, and other than his cold words back at that party, he had done nothing to warrant her not trusting him.
He let go of the back of her neck and ran his hands down her body, going toward her hips and then back again. At first, she didn’t even realize he was pulling her shirt off over her head, but they broke the kiss long enough for that to happen.
She immediately went to cover herself, but he captured her hands, stopping her from doing so. “I don’t want you to hide from me,” he said.
She didn’t fight him and instead looked into his eyes. It was only broken when he pulled his shirt over his head and took a step back.
Once it was gone, his hands went to her sides, and he moved them toward the button of her skirt. He slid it down, and thankfully, she had installed it properly, so there was no jerking of the zip in an attempt to loosen it. This was a relief.
He shoved her skirt down, so now she stood before him in a pair of tights, panties, and bra.
It was cold out, but if she knew they were getting naked, she wouldn’t have worn the tights.
The tights were clearly not a problem to him as he pushed them down her thighs with ease.
When he got them around her ankles, she stepped out of them, and he tossed them to the side.
They may look ugly, but they were super comfortable.
Lorenzo wrapped his fingers around her ankles and slowly started to bring them up her thighs, and then around the backs of her calves, drawing them up the outside of her legs again.
He moved all the way up until he got to her panties, and he gripped the edge of them.
Clarissa couldn’t help but hold her breath as he grabbed them and slowly started to peel them down her thighs.
Her heart raced. She struggled to think.
All she cared about was what her body was feeling. She closed her eyes, and once the panties fell past her ankles, she stepped out of them. This was the most he’d ever touched her. Her body felt like it was aflame.
Opening her eyes, he stood before her and put his hands on her shoulders, turning her away from him.
She felt the tips of his fingers at her bra, and he flicked it open.
Seconds later, her bra was gone. At first, he didn’t touch her.
She stood still, not knowing what to do.
Then, his hands went to her waist, and he turned her slowly toward him.
She didn’t feel fear, but there was an edge of excitement as she looked at him. In that moment, since they had gotten married, she actually desired him. She had never felt this way before, and she didn’t want him to stop.
****
This was not about any fucking deal or stupid agreement between their parents.
Lorenzo couldn’t give a fuck about any of them.
He and Clarissa were married. They were together, and he fucked up big time.
He didn’t know what the fuck to do with a virgin, and he assumed all the books and movies he’d seen, which were not a lot, were overexaggerating.
When he lost his virginity, it didn’t hurt.
It might have been a little humiliating, but that was par for the course.
It was part of his father’s training. A man wasn’t a man until he had sex.
Women were paid to fuck him. His father wanted him to learn to become a man quickly, so this wasn’t exactly easy for him.
He didn’t want Clarissa to fear sex. He also didn’t want her to believe it would only be good if she laid still and did nothing.
Sex was good for both parties. He wanted her to desire him, to yearn for him.
Removing the last of his clothes, so he now stood before her naked, he pulled her close, so there was barely a breath between them.
“You’re beautiful,” he said.
He absolutely adored her smile, the way it lit up her whole face. He couldn’t believe how lucky he’d gotten, and he’d nearly destroyed it with just a few nasty words.
Cupping her cheek, he tilted her head back, and he had no plans to fuck her today. That was going to come later. For now, he wanted to get her comfortable with him, learning each other.
“You can touch me,” he said, taking her hand and putting the flat of her palm on his chest.
She let out a little sigh, and he couldn’t help but smile at her.
“I’m not hurting you, am I?” she asked.
“Not at all.”
Clarissa kept her gaze on him, and he used his other hand to stroke up the curve of her back, then down so he was skimming across her ass. She let out a little moan.
He gripped her curvy ass and pulled her in closer, and her eyes went a little wide as his cock pressed against her stomach.
“Does that not hurt you?”
“No. You’re turning me on,” he said.
“How?”
This made him chuckle. “Just by being you.” He winked at her. “That is the power you have.”
He tilted her head back and claimed those full, kissable lips, because he no longer had the strength nor the willpower to hold back. He needed to just kiss her. She whimpered, and he swallowed her moans.
Breaking from her lips, he trailed his lips down to her neck, biting down on her pulse. He made sure he didn’t do any of this hard, just enough to make her ache for him.
Letting her go, he spun her around so her back was to him, and he made sure they were skin to skin and flush with each other.
He put both his hands at her waist, but he didn’t hold them there, and instead slowly brought them up to cup her tits. She gasped, and he kissed her neck, stroking the buds of her nipples. He pinched the tips, not enough to cause pain, but to hopefully cause that tug of pleasure.
He let go of her tits to move her hair out of the way, so he could practice on the other side of her neck. Another little moan escaped her, and she was making him so damn hard. He had no choice but to start moving her toward the bed.
Once they were there, he turned her again and made her sit down, which brought her in eyesight of his thick cock.
Leaning forward, he cupped her face and made it so that she laid down, giving herself over to the pleasure he was creating.
The moment she was down, he broke from her lips once again, only this time he didn’t stop at her neck and instead traveled down, going straight to her tits.
He cupped them within his palms, pressing them together.
He flicked each tip with his tongue before taking the whole nipple into his mouth and sucking hard. She gasped.
Lorenzo alternated between each nipple, drawing out as much pleasure as she could take.
He pushed her to the peak, throwing her close to the edge, but not taking her to it, as he ran his hand between her thighs and cupped her pussy.
Slowly, he pressed a finger to her clit, slightly tapping on her clit and then circling.
At the same time, he took her nipple into his mouth, using quite a bit of pleasure.
Clarissa arched up to him and cried out. He loved the sounds. It was so much better than her laying there, not making any.
He was a fucking idiot for not thinking to explore this with his wife. To learn her body, and see what made her tick. Clarissa liked it hard and a little rough. He slowly dipped down into her entrance, circling, teasing her, letting her know there doesn’t always have to be pain.
As he slid a single finger inside her, Lorenzo felt it like a kick to the fucking stomach. This was the first time Clarissa had ever been aroused. She was soaking wet, and all he had to do was touch her the right way to take his time to guide her. She’d never been aroused, at least not like this.
He was the worst husband in the fucking world.
He added a second finger and pressed his thumb to her clit, stroking back and forth. Lorenzo let go of her tit and watched her. She looked so amazing, letting herself go to the pleasure, and there was nothing more he wanted. He loved to see her come apart.
“That’s it, baby, come for me,” he said.
Clarissa’s gaze fell on him, and he felt the change within her as her pussy tightened around his fingers, and he kept stroking her clit.
She came, and he felt the tightness of her pussy as it contracted around his fingers. He was amazed at how she felt, and how she came apart. It was beautiful, and he knew it was something he had never seen before.
When she couldn’t take much more, he let go and cupped her face, kissing her.
“What happened?” Clarissa asked, a little breathlessly.
“An orgasm. You had an orgasm. You’ve never felt that way before?” he asked.
She shook her head. “No.”
“I’m so sorry,” he said. “I’m a fucking shitty husband.”
“What?” Clarissa asked.
“I should have taken the time to get to know you, to explore you, to allow you to feel this way, and I didn’t, and that is on me.”
“Don’t,” she said. “It’s okay.”
“No, it’s not fucking okay. I’m the husband here. I’m the one that should have known.”
And he was ashamed. He had fucked up.
The horrible truth was, prior to him consummating his wedding night, his dad had told him it was his duty to have a child. It was nonstop how important it was for Clarissa to be with child. Rather than love his new bride, he’d treated it as a duty. He allowed his father to rule his fucking head.
Lorenzo got up and without a word, he walked away from Clarissa.
