JAY’S JOURNAL

I FINALLY got to meet Michaela, who I now call Mickey. Holy hell, she is STUNNING. I think I may be in trouble here. I mean, there are beautiful women and then there are BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. I have no idea how I am going to deal with her being my roommate. The lust is real.

And she’s all shy and cute too, which I didn’t know I’d have a thing for, but it turns out I very much do. Too bad I am not sure how she feels about other women, she has an ex-boyfriend, but so did Diana.

A big part of me wishes I could tell all of this to Diana and not just write it here.

I know I still love her, and while I still think it was right for us to break up, it's hard without her and Julia.

I never thought I took what we had for granted, but meeting and talking to Mickey makes me feel like I did.

At least Diana has Julia. I hope both me and Mickey find friends.

It’s a strange feeling, harboring love for my past romance while also lusting after my roommate. For now, I’m just going with it. I mean, Michaela is a bit of a mystery. I get the sense that she is still trying to figure herself out. Who isn’t.

We met Davis, Kevin, Sasha, Iris and Callie.

We had dinner with them (food can’t hold a candle to Mama’s) and while I think it was overwhelming for Mickey, it was amazing to see so many openly queer people living their truth.

I want to get to know Iris more, maybe score some makeup tips from her.

She has a really sweet energy about her and she is a woman like me and Mickey.

I also am thinking it may be worth chatting with Ms. Cece. Sasha, Iris and Davis call her “Mother”. I miss my own mother, so having a mother figure here couldn’t hurt.

Ready for the world,

Jay
