Chapter Six #2

“Trust me, Holl, they had names. They just didn’t tell you.”

Holly’s phone continues to beep and she continues to silence it.

“You know a good way to get people to stop messaging is to answer them. You and your sister both need to learn how to answer messages.” I lean against the bench and wait for her response as she looks down at her phone again, only to silence it once more.

Her face screws up a little. I’ve noticed both twins make this exact same face while thinking.

“I can’t answer it until I talk to Reilly. I need her help with something. Speaking of, where is my sister?”

“She’s asleep still. What do you need help with? Maybe I can help you?” I offer, because there is no way in hell I’m letting anyone drag Reilly out of my bed this morning.

“Unless you’re prepared to find yourself tagging along on a double date with me and this guy, you can’t help,” she says as she waves her phone in front of her.

“Babe, I don’t usually have any issue finding a date. When is this double date?” I ask. It then dawns on me that she was planning on asking Reilly to go on this date, which means Reilly would have taken someone, that same someone not being me.

Before she can answer, I’m jumping on her. “Wait a fucking second, you were going to get Reilly to go on this double date thing with you?”

“Well, yeah, she always comes with me on dates. Not that I date much, but if I do, she tags along. Why?” She smirks at me knowingly.

Huh, guess I walked into that one. But I don’t fucking care. I smirk back.

“Sign us both up to tag along. Reilly and I are going to be your date buddies. Who’s the guy anyway?”

“Oh, he’s the physical education teacher from school. He’s been asking me out for a while now and I keep saying no. I figured I’d say yes one time and see what happens.” She shrugs, then adds, “Good luck telling Reilly she’s going to be your date,” as she exits the room laughing.

Reilly is still out of it on my bed when I make my way back into the room.

Placing the coffees on the dresser, I stand against the wall, debating whether I should wake her or not.

I decide on the not; this may be the only chance I get to peacefully look my fill without her giving me a death glare in return.

The fact that the sheets have dropped to her waist, displaying all of her glorious breasts, helps this decision.

What I wouldn’t do to get my mouth, hands, anything on those breasts. Damn, my junior is roaring to go at them too. Something tells me she would not welcome the ideas I have of just how I could wake her, how I want to wake her every fucking morning.

Shit, where the hell are these thoughts coming from? I really do need to get laid. The only issue is junior; he has not even budged at another woman since meeting Reilly. The bastard is fucking hooked on her, loyal to her.

“Are you going to stand there all day staring like a creeper, Bray? Or are you actually going to hand me that coffee I can smell.”

Reilly’s sleepy voice draws me out of my own head. “I’ll take option one, babe; I could stare at you all day and not tire of the view. I’ll let you creep on me as much as you want to because as you know, I’m a giver like that.” I raise my eyebrows suggestively at her.

Reilly slowly sits up, pulling the sheet up and covering those breasts I haven’t been able to stop staring at. “Argh, God, make yourself useful and pass me that coffee, Bray,” she says as she rubs her temples.

Like a fucking lost little puppy, I do exactly that. I pick up her coffee and walk it over, holding it out to her. She snaps it up and within seconds is moaning as she sips on the hot brew. Even doing a simple thing like drinking coffee, she takes my breath away; she is fucking gorgeous.

“Okay, your staring is actually starting to creep me out a little here. You might want to tone it down a bit,” she says while staring at my crotch. My ever-growing fucking crotch that is on full display in these loose-fitting shorts.

“It’s not my fault you’re so damn beautiful to look at. You know junior is your number one fan, babe. I can’t control what he likes.” I make a point of looking down and waving at junior. “You know, if you were a real friend, you’d help a mate out here,” I suggest.

Reilly laughs, “We are not friends, Bray, not even close.

Now, turn around so I can get dressed.”

“Ouch, that hurts, sweets,” I lament, holding my hand over my heart. I walk into the closet and pick up a shirt for her. “Put this on. What are your plans for today?” I ask, making a point of not turning around while she slips the shirt over her head.

“I’m going shopping with Alyssa. Why?” “What about tonight?” I ask.

“Washing my hair.” She shrugs.

“How about you come to my place and I’ll help you wash your hair,” I suggest.

“Not going to happen. Sorry.” She stands up and starts looking around the room. “Have you seen my phone?”

I walk over to the dresser and pick up her now fully- charged phone, handing it to her. “I charged it for you.”

Reilly tilts her head, mouth open, and seems stunned. She’s quick to recover herself as she takes the phone, mumbling out a thanks.

She’s staring down at her phone and is just about to the door when she suddenly stops, spinning around and looking straight up at me.

“Why the hell is Holly saying we are double dating tomorrow night? And by we, I mean you and me?” she says, pointing between me and her.

I smile. I’m finally going to get her out on a date.

“Your sister asked me to help her out. She has this date with some PE teacher from her school. She seemed sceptical, almost like she didn’t even want to go out with the guy.

I didn’t like it and I’m not about to let her go alone.

I’m a good friend like that. I help my mates out. ”

Reilly rolls her eyes. “Whatever, I wouldn’t have let her go alone anyway.” She then walks out the door, slamming it behind her.
