Chapter Fourteen #2

Thomas clears his throat. “Well umm, I’m Thomas.

I came from the North City and I got lost on the road and my car broke down.

I apologize for any disturbance, I-i will get going.

” He turns towards the door as his words stumble.

Clayton reaches a hand out as he holds Thomas’s shoulder tightly, stopping him in his tracks.

Clayton smirks. “Well, Thomas, you haven’t even stayed for a drink. Do you think we are so ill mannered?” He scoffed his name in amusement as he looked him up and down.

Before Thomas could utter a word, I gasp as Clayton grabs him by the back of his neck, pulling him down as he walks up the stairs, dragging Thomas onto the harsh steps.

“Let me go! I will leave, I promise I didn’t mean any harm!”

Clayton stops on the top of the stairs and looks back over his shoulder to me. “Doll, it’s been a long day, go rest on our bed. I have some business to attend to.”

Clayton

The ringing in my ears won’t stop, since I saw that man standing close to her in our home. I stood there, watching how he gave her sweet words as her cheeks flushed and looked away in shyness.

I lock the door of the basement as Thomas muffled yelling echoes in the walls. He could scream all he likes, but the basement walls are sound proof, no one can hear him for miles if he screamed blood from his throat. I tapped his mouth because I wanted to focus.

The table surface is filled with lined up jars of chemicals, an axe, pliers, nails, folded knives, syringes, a saw and a machete.

My fingers glide over their cold metal surfaces as my lips tilt up in a twisted smile. In this basement, I can fulfill my darkest urges with no eyes bothering me.

Excitement builds up in me as my blood starts pumping in anticipation for a new project.

“Please! Let me go!”

His plea falls on deaf ears as I swirl the pliers between my fingers.

My nose crunches in disgust when the smell of urine hits my nostrils. I look over at him, strapped down onto the examining table as the dim light of candles dance over his body. A dark stain over his pants in the crotch area.

He peed himself.

I scoff. “You are pathetic, wetting yourself as a coward. I haven’t even started.” shaking my head as I grab hold of a jar filled with chlorine, swirling it in my hands as I inch over him. I throw the chlorine over his crotch as the smell vanishes and he yelps in fear.

I chuckle. “It is not even painful, just cleaning up your filth.”

I turn my back to him as I think through the choices.

The pliers would be a good conversation starter as I hold them up to him.

“Did you touch her, Thomas?” My voice is calm and collected as he shakes his head frantically.

I hum, nodding slowly as I stand beside him.

I flick the pliers in the air and catch them in my palm.

“You see, Thomas, I do not tolerate many things.” I run the pliers down his arms as he shakes, holding his wrist with the metal in a firm grip, pressing onto his veins.

“Liars are at the top of the list, you thought that a pretty girl is alone in the middle of nature, you could just use her as much as you like, yeah?” I move the pliers down his hand, till it presses over his knuckles and I twist. The sound of bone breaking mixes with his muffled scream.

“What did you say to her? That she was Pretty, no?”

Another knuckle breaks.

His screams sparks an animalistic satisfaction inside me as I continue breaking all his knuckles, and snatching his nails. His bloody hands lay limp beside him as I clean up the pliers off his blood.

I wipe off my hands over my white dress shirt, smearing the excess blood over me. I grab the small bottle of chemicals and pour some carefully in the eyedropper. Thomas rests his head to the side in exhaustion as dried tears fall down his eyes.

“Dont faint on me, Thomas, It was just some bone crushing. Man up.” I walk towards him as his eyes flutter open to meet mine.

I lean over him as I hold the dropper, hovering over his eyes as I whisper.

“This is Calcium hydroxide, one of my favorite chemicals. Just one tiny drop of it causes such dear harm. I always wanted to try it.”

His eyes widened as I lowered the dropper closer to his dark irises, his face shakes and I snarl in frustration and grab his chin firmly.

“Stay. Still.” He tries to move away but my grip holds him in place.

“You laid your useless eyes on her. Now, let me show you what happens when you eye fuck what’s mine. ”

I press on the dropper as the liquid falls directly into his pupils and he screams, shaking in my grip and I drop more and more into both eyes.

His eyelids are sewn shut as he tries to open them and look around.

I chuckle “Oh Thomas, It worked. I forgot to mention that Calcium Hydroxide blinds when it's poured directly in your eyes.” I laugh as he pathetically tries to look anywhere and I throw the empty dropper away.

Pride fills me that he lays helplessly on the table as the voices in my mind scream, mocking that I haven't done enough.

I cover my ears as their screams get louder. “Stop!”

You couldn't protect her enough.

You are weak.

She wouldn’t choose you.

I growl as I see their silhouettes surrounding the basement. Their white hair gliding down as their eyes shine daggers into me.

It was your fault.

She trusted you.

Every one of them antagonizes me at the same time as I scream and grab hold of the machete.

Thomas can feel me striding towards him as I raise the machete over my head then strike it down.

His screams match the voices as cut off his knee.

I slam down the machete again. Different parts of his body fall on the ground, smearing the floor with blood, till all I can see is red.

I slam the Machete down on him again, and again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Blood splashes over my face and clothes as the dark walls are now painted red. His head falls onto the ground in pieces and I don’t stop, until all the voices vanish.
