Chapter 9 He Asked for My WeChat
I looked up blankly.
A red-haired boy stood in front of me. His features were deep, almost mixed-race.
When I met his eyes, he raised his brows and said something in dialect.
I caught a few words but couldn't follow.
My voice was small. "Sorry..."
He stared at me. When I instinctively shrank back, he snorted. "You can't even understand this."
He turned to leave, then suddenly turned back and roughly lifted my hair.
"Old He said you look quite special. Let me see how—"
His voice cut off.
My necklace hung in front of him.
I pursed my lips and pulled away from his grip.
The red-haired boy scratched his head, words awkward. "I was just doing a dare, not trying to make things difficult for you. By the way, my name is Gu Ting."
"Oh."
He hesitated. "Can I add your WeChat?"
After he left, the dare group started cheering and mocking.
"Does he have such a rustic accent?"
"Does he even understand?"
For some reason Gu Ting scolded them in a low voice.
I pursed my lips and looked at my phone screen. His avatar was a fluffy kitten.
Suddenly a hand took my phone.
I looked up. Chi Jin was looking down at me.
"Hmph, your reputation is quite good."
