13. Tadgh

CHAPTER 13

TADGH

I woke up with Lorcan's big fecking feet practically kicking me off the bed, so I shoved him in return.

“Mind Gabriela,” he mumbled in response, but as I lifted my eyes from him, I found our little omega wasn’t right in the center of her nest.

“Where is she?” I asked, but the snores had already taken over.

With a curse hanging from my lips, I pushed the covers away and went on a search for her.

The house still smelt of her perfume, something magical that reminded me of warm cookies and baked goods. My stomach growled, and my dick went hard at the same time as I padded downstairs. How the fuck would I manage myself around this woman?

I found her in the kitchen, a big pint of water in her hands and her eyebrows knitted together as she looked away. I had to stop myself in my tracks, the air in my lungs whooshing out with such ferocity, I felt lightheaded.

Even when our blood came back announcing we had an omega somewhere in South America, I still couldn’t believe it. Not when I saw the first glimpse of her curls at Dublin Airport, nor when I felt her warm soft skin against mine.

Gabriela was a treasure, a dream I never dared to dream.

Her eyes finally landed on me, and warmth ran down my spine to my feet as I smiled at her like a fool.

Her throat worked with the rest of the water, and she lowered the pint down. “I was thirsty.”

I nodded. Oisin was the clever one, Lorcan serious and intimidating enough that people never asked much out of him. I was just me, unsure what to say in this moment.

She fidgeted as I made my way to her. I noticed she was wearing just a loose t-shirt, her small toes curling over the wooden floor. Her hair was up in a messy bun on the top of her head, a strand framing her face. The excuses I had died on the tip of my tongue. I wanted to say I was also thirsty, or maybe I needed food. Instead, I stood there, looking at her, until she averted her gaze.

“Everything okay?”

She avoided my eyes, and I flinched. I couldn’t help myself. I wanted to be loved by her so much, it hurt. I wanted to be more than the spare of the pack.

“I know it’s overwhelming,” I tried a second time. “A lot has happened since you arrived here. Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?”

She tipped her head to the side, a flash of pure anguish crossing her delicate features.

“You can tell me I’m doing the right thing.”

I couldn’t bear watching her face fall like that. Before either of us knew it, I was beside her, my hand taking one of hers in mine.

“Of course you’re doing everything right. Do you mean with us? Do you mean with your life?”

She shrugged, sniffed, and chuckled, trying to make light of her feelings. I didn’t like that. I took her other hand before she tried to hide her face from me and kissed her knuckles.

“I don’t want you to be perfect. I don’t want you a shell of a human with no feelings. Tell me. Lay it on me.”

I offered a small smile, something that always worked to hide my insecurities, but she never offered a smile back, as if she knew most of it was an act.

“I’m scared of what is happening here. I’m scared of how easy this has been. It thought it was going to take a lot to get me to give myself, but up there?” She pointed in the bedroom direction. “I was free in a way that frightened me.”

The rough pads of my thumbs traced her palm, and she shivered and offered me a smile. Filled with renewed want by that smile, I pressed, “Are you afraid of being happy?”

She winced, and I knew I got it right. “More than anything.”

I tugged her even closer until I could reach her waist and have my hands on her. “Tell me.”

“What if I wasn’t made to be happy? What if the universe finds out I’m okay and it ruins it all for us? What if I have to leave you? What if I have to take Alice back home even though we don’t have a home anymore?” She said it all in one breath, a whispered confession ripped right from her chest.

“I would tear apart the fabric of the universe to get you and Alice back.”

It was that simple to me. She was here in front of me, more perfect than possible, and I’d fight for her, even against the universe.

“Why wouldn't the universe want you to be happy, love?” I asked. “Of all the creatures in the world, you must be the most blessed. There’s no way you can walk this Earth and think the universe isn’t proud of its creation.”

She smiled but shook her head. “You’re a smooth talker.”

“I’m not joking,” I pushed, forming a crease between my brows, disturbed she couldn’t see it. “I’m eternally grateful for every second I get to be with you. I can’t understand why you don’t see it.”

“Maybe because I never met my dad, and my mother was always very clear about not wanting me.” She delivered that combined with a self-deprecating laugh that had my heart squeezing at her pain.

“I was never wanted, so why would I be wanted now?” This part was said in a whisper, almost like it slipped unburden past her lips.

“I know a lot about feeling unwanted.”

She arched an eyebrow. “Really?”

I nodded, letting my hands fall from her face. I diverted my eyes, not wanting her to see how desperate I was. I liked to hide behind my easy nature. I wanted to be there for her, not burden her with my insecurities.

“You have to tell me now,” she said, poking me on the ribs. “We can share secrets.”

That was the last thing I wanted to do. I smiled at her, trying to put my mask back in place, but now that she saw what was underneath, she could tell. She shook her head and poked me again.

“Tell me.”

“It doesn’t matter,” I brushed it off.

“It matters to me.”

I groaned. It wasn’t a big deal. I just genuinely disliked feeling of being exposed. I also didn’t want her to think there was a fracture in our pack.

“Look, I know I’m the spare,” I said with a smile, trying to show I didn't mind. “And usually, I’m okay with that, but since you came into our lives…”

“The whole twenty four hours.”

“It's been a lot.” I smirked, and she giggled, though her smile quickly fell flat.

“What do you mean you’re the spare?”

I lifted a shoulder. “Lorcan is the oldest, the protector, the one who taught us both how to fish. I know how to tie a rope because of him. Oisin is mature, and he always knows things before us. I’m just here...”

“No.” Her voice was sharp, cutting me off quickly. “You’re the heart. You are the one who smiled at me at the airport and made me feel at ease. You are the one who made me comfortable for Alice. What are you talking about?”

She looked at me baffled, as if I didn’t know myself.

“Maybe we don’t see ourselves as we should.”

“Maybe,” she agreed.

We looked at each other for a moment, her breathing deep as her heavy breasts brushed against my chest. Gabriela went up on her tiptoes, her warm hands reaching for my shoulders as she captured my lips with her. I tasted her mouth once again, the kiss dissolving all my insecurities one by one, as if she had the power to make me a new man.

We kissed slowly. I grew bolder and took her ass in my hand, so easy to reach when she was wearing practically nothing. With the other hand, I buried my fingers in the coils of her hair and tipped her head up.

“I want to fuck you as if I’m trying to leave something of mine behind,” I whispered between her lips. “I want to fuck you as if I need to be inside you more than I need oxygen.”

Heat flashed over her brown eyes, her lips parting and her legs giving out, collapsing completely in my arms.

“I want to fuck you until you see who I am.”

She placed her warm palm over my cheek. “I see you.”

I let a growl out of my throat, my cock pulsing with the need to be inside her. I turned her around, and lowered her chest to the kitchen counter until her ass was exposed to me.

“Look at you,” I murmured, more to myself than to her. Gabriela’s breathing changed as I used my fingers, exploring between her legs, humming under my breath when I found her soaking wet already. “So perfect.”

Her wet warmth devoured my fingers and made me weak in the knees. Her perfume was everywhere. I could taste it, as if I was eating her out at the same time.

“Tadgh!” she moaned.

Me. My name.

I worked her deep, my thumb massaging the entrance to her ass, making her squirm over the kitchen island to where I had to use my free hand to hold her down.

“Tadgh, please. The heat is so strong.”

“I know.” The smile forming on my lips was nothing but wicked as her juices started to run down her thick thighs.

I couldn’t wait. I’d already been patient enough. I needed this. I needed more. I took my fingers out, and a second later, my cock slid in, stretching her walls in the most obscene picture.

She was so tight, smelled so good. I thrust to the hilt, and my hips started to move before I had time to ask if she was okay. I couldn’t control myself. I needed her, needed to be deep inside her. I needed to be so deep I could make myself anew.

Her cheek rested on the marble as she moaned loudly, calling my name and fueling the desire inside me.

My cock was impossibly hard; she squeezed me like a vice, and I felt her desire grow with each move.

“Are you playing without me?”

I glanced at the stairs to find Lorcan coming down, a smirk on his face, his eyes locked on the image of Gabriela bent over the marble and bouncing on my cock.

“Daddy,” she called for him. “I’m so full.”

He walked up to her, his eyes attentive and his face serious as he caressed her cheek tenderly. “Are you full, mo chroí ?”

Gabriela nodded and whimpered as my speed increased. I could feel my climax arriving quickly, her walls clenching, my beating heart speeding up.

“Take his cock. Take care of our Tadgh.”

She flexed again, squeezing me in a whole different way, and I saw stars. She glanced over her shoulder, our eyes meeting as she took the instructions to take care of me. My knot was just at her entrance, forcing its way in, and she whimpered as I started to thrust. After so many years, she was finally here. I pushed my knot in, the need to fill her up so strong, I was soon slamming into her.

I turned her around, her back to the marble, and moved her legs at an angle so I could keep fucking her. Lorcan quickly removed her t-shirt, and those beautiful breasts spilled out, bouncing with every thrust.

“God, Tadgh.”

“Ah, mo chroí ,” Lorcan said, going for her nipple and teasing with his thumb. “Now come around his cock for Daddy to see.”

She was close, and to our surprise, she found her own clit, flicking it quickly as I fucked her in the same rhythm. I couldn’t hold myself back—I was loud in my pleasure. Gabriela was my undoing, my beginning. I was getting lost in her, never wanting to be found again.

Her brow was sweaty, her eyes concentrating as she pushed us both to the brink. It was one look, one sassy smile, and she mouthed, “Fill me.”

I exploded inside her. Ropes of cum in never-ending ecstasy poured into her, my knot locked inside her pussy. My damp skin over hers, I felt a tremor coming right from the base of my spine.

She was mine. Not just any omega, but this one. This incredible, selfless, smart, beautiful woman.

Her mouth fell open as we watched each other. We shared more than just sex and knotting. There was a secret now, the feeling of being unwanted your whole life just to be wanted by the right person.

“What did I miss?”

We all turned to look at Oisin coming down the stairs, his eyes barely open.
