I haven’t had such a fun time reading a story for a while.
I love the humor in this. So much banter and snark, and pairs well with Redford’s book.
It’s insta-something with a sweet MMC who can’t keep the dirty thoughts out of his head (or his eyes off her chest) and a smart-mouthed MFC who just might be my favorite in a while." - ARC Reviewer

This was supposed to be the fresh start my bestie and I needed.
There it goes, up in flames, leaving us with nothing.
As if things couldn’t get any worse, the grumpy but hot-as-handcuffs-in-the-summer-sun cop, won’t stop asking stupid cop questions.
We both know the only thing he should be asking is me out.
Not that I would, way too uptight for me, I don’t know how he isn’t cutting off circulation.
Is it me or is the supercop lightening up a bit?
Maybe he’s not so bad.
After all he is just looking out for me, and it’s got me looking at him in a whole new light.

She’s as irritating as she is beautiful.
Distractingly beautiful, making it hard to do my job.
Not to mention hilarious, whether she means to be or not.
Yet sensitive and thoughtful, while at the same time aloof and self absorbed.
She’s polarizing in every way, a walking contradiction I can’t take my eyes off of.
My need to protect her goes beyond the badge.
When Meredith’s not around, I miss her.
She is desire like I’ve never known, but she can never know.
I have an oath to uphold, I just wish I could hold her forever while doing it.
