Chapter 4 The Changing Room
I called the HR sister from my internship company.
"Song classmate, are you sure you agree to the overseas transfer?"
I nodded. "Sure."
The company where I had interned for four months only offered full-time positions for the overseas roles.
I had dreamed of living overseas. The benefits for overseas positions were much better than regular ones.
But to stay domestic with Pei Sijin.
I had rejected it without hesitation back then.
The HR sister felt it was a shame and asked me to think it over again.
Unexpectedly, it turned into my second opportunity by chance.
This time I didn't hesitate and signed the contract quickly.
When my roommate Yueyue learned about it, she took me to play Scripted Mystery Game to celebrate.
I didn't expect to encounter Pei Sijin and Su Yu again in this situation.
They had joined as temporary players.
The others had already reserved their roles, leaving only a couple role.
It naturally fell to them.
After getting the roles, Su Yu immediately got into character and hooked her arm with Pei Sijin's.
Pei Sijin didn't push her away, but his eyes remained fixed on me.
Until Su Yu's smile disappeared and she pinched him lightly. "Old Pei, time to change clothes."
He finally came back to his senses.
Su Yu's changing room was next to mine. Pei Sijin, who had already changed, waited for her at the door.
After a series of rustling sounds, I heard her say helplessly.

There was silence outside for a while.
I thought Pei Sijin would refuse.
But then came the sound of the curtain being pulled open.
Pei Sijin gritted his teeth. "I really can't with you, Su Yu. Do you truly not see me as a man?"
Su Yu laughed cheerfully.
"Don't you see me as a woman?"
Knowing they were ambiguous was one thing.
Hearing it personally was another.

But the quiet conversation from the next changing room continued to seep into my ears.
"It's too tight. Old Pei, loosen one hook for me."
"... Did you gain weight?"

The clothes were finally changed.
Someone walked out.
I waited a bit before pulling open the curtain.
I didn't expect Pei Sijin to still be there.

He tried to act composed.
"Song Zhiyuan, you heard all that?"
