Chapter 10 /Edited
When Nate drove off, I felt sad. I wasn't sad but Blake was. I could feel how heartbroken she was. She wanted to come too but not now. I can't let her be there while the vampires keep coming out of nowhere. I dont want her to be in danger.
We got to the pack house and Nate helped me get to my room. "What happened while I was gone?" I asked Nate. I sat on my bed and pain shot up my back.
"Jonathan is still here. He said he wanted to talk to you." Nate said.
"Where is he?" Even though I was in pain and did not want that vampire prince in my territory.
"His in your office." Nate said.
I ignored the pain and rushed to my office. I opened the doors and saw him sitting in my chair. "What are you doing here you blood sucker?" I asked.
"Thats harsh. Considering your a vampire too. Im here for my part of the deal." He said.
He has a stupid smirk on his face and I just wanted to punch it off his face. "There is two humans in the dungeons. Take them and leave." I said. He smiled and got up. He walked to the door but stopped right next to me.
"You better keep it up or else your mate will be my meal instead of the North Star pack." He whispered. I was shocked. How did he know about Blake? I growled as he walked away.
"Watch him." I told Nate and headed back to my room. I needed to protect Blake. The only thing that came to mind was to keep her here. But them she would have to meet the pack.
I had to think of something. Maybe I should just tell the pack. I'll do it tomorrow. Right now, I needed some rest.
The next day, I felt a lot better. I took the bandage off and the wound was almost closed completely. I got up and took a warm shower. After my shower, I put on a jeans and a black top. I left my wet hair and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.
I got to the kitchen and saw my mom cooking. She turned to me and had a worried look on her face. "Eric. Your supposed to be resting." She said.
"I'm fine mom. Whats there to eat?" I asked giving her a warm smile to prove Im ok.
"If you say so. There is eggs, bacon and sausage with some toast." She placed the plate of food in front of me and I dug in. After breakfast I wanted to gather everyone and tell them about Blake.
Maybe I should tell my mom first since she is here. I pushed my plate and cleared my throat getting her attention. "Mom. I want to tell you something important." I started off.
"If its about the human girl that was here the other day, Im sure it is important." She said. Right. The pack saw her but didn't know who she was yet.
"Yes it is about her. Her name is Blake and she is...she is my mate." I said.
My mom looked at me with a deadly look. Im sure she was mad I kept this from her. "How long did you know that she was your mate?" She asked me calmly which freaked me out.
The only person who scares me is my mom. "Since April." I said with a smile. She nodded her head then hit me on the head. "Ouch. Why?" I asked.
"Your mate has been here for five month's and you only tell me now!" She yelled. I rubbed my head and she calmed herself down. "When do I get to meet her?" My mom asked.
"Im going to tell the pack the next time she comes around." I said.
"And when will that be?" My mom asked. I shrugged and she got mad again. "Bring her tomorrow!" She yelled.
"Ok. Im just worried the vampires might hurt her." I admitted. I didn't want her to get hurt.
"Is she friends with the North Star pack?" My mom asked. I nodded a yes and she sighed. "If so then she can ask them for help. Im sure they already watch over her. If she comes here more often then that would be better too." She explained.
"Your right." I said. Skyler and Oliver walked in from training and grabbed some water bottles.
"Good morning Alpha." They said.
"Morning." I replied and they looked at me. "What?" I asked.
"Well. Its the first time in a while that you said morning back to us." Skyler said.
"Did something happen?" Oliver asked. My mom looked at me with a look that asked, 'can I tell them?' I thought about it and this would be a better way for them to find out faster.
I gave her the ok and she smiled. "Eric has found his luna." My mom said. They looked at me.
"Its true." I said and they smiled.
"Thats great. Let go tell everyone." They said but looked at me. I nodded and they ran off like little kids to spread the news.
"So much for telling them with Blake." I said and my mom giggled. I got up and went upstairs to my office. I saw my desk full of paperwork and I got busy.
Four hours passed and I finished all the paperwork. I took out my phone and went into Blake's name and texted her.
Me: Hey love. When can you visit again?
I waited for a reply but she didn't answer. I left my office and went to my room to change into a shorts. I left my room and went for a run outside. I went downstairs and out the back door.
I ran into the woods to clear my mind of everything. As I was running, my phone started buzzing. I took out my phone and saw it was Blake. I opened the chat and read the message.
Blake: Hey Eric. You better be resting. I dont know when Ill come over again. Maybe once you get better.
Me: You can come over tomorrow. I want to introduce you to someone.
Blake: Who?
Me: You will see when you get here.
Blake: I hate surprises.
Me: You will learn to love it. See you tomorrow. I'll pick you up at eight am.
Blake: Ok. Bye.
I put my phone in my pocket and ran back to the house. I was nervous that the pack might not like her. Well they will have to cause she will always be there and never leave.
I went into the house and saw Nate, Gabriel, Lexi and Hannah sitting on the couch. I decided to have a little fun and spook them. I quietly walked up behind them and scared them.
"What are you doing?" I yelled and they jumped up screaming like kids.
"Thats not funny Eric." Gabriel said. I laughed and they looked at me.
"Seems like our luna made you lighten up." Lexi said.
News really does travel fast in this pack. "Maybe." I said and sat on the couch.
"When can we meet her?" Hannah asked all excited.
"Tomorrow." I said and Lexi and Hannah got excited while Gabriel and Nate just smiled.
"You guys arent happy your going to meet the luna?" Lexi asked. Also, Lexi is Gabriel's mate and Hannah is Nate's mate.
"We already met her." They said and the girls were speechless.
"Well that isn't fair. You guys got to meet her." Lexi said. They looked at me and I just stayed out of it. I got up and went to my room, not wanting to be part of the conversation anymore.
It got dark soon and I got ready for bed. I layed down and looked at the pictures I took of Blake. No she doesn't know I have these. No Im not a stalker. Its pictures of when she tried on the dresses. She looked so beautiful. Her perfect tanned skin, long red wavy hair and the most perfect smile.
She has this mature baby face and she looked so cute when she was stubborn. Her perfect chestnut eyes and she doesn't even wear makeup.
She is different from any girl in this world. And she is mine and mine only. I put my phone off and stared at the ceiling, slowly falling asleep
