SIXTEEN

“Are you ready to go to the park?” Daddy asks.

I look down and see that I’m wearing a very short shirt and a diaper. If I move my arms a little bit, my boobs will be on full display.

This is what Daddy was talking about when he said he wanted to put more clothes on me before we went out. How is this going to keep me warm?

“Can I have more clothes?” I ask.

Daddy shakes his head. “No, that is enough. You won’t be out of my arms long enough for you to get really cold.”

I look down at the shirt and take a deep breath. If we were caught with this on in the space station, we could have been dragged to Headmistress Helena and scolded. The only places we were allowed to show our bra and underwear were the bathroom or our dorm room if we were changing dresses.

“Now, let’s put the harness on you. You’re going to put your arms through these holes, then I’m going to lock it in the front.

No one will be able to take it off unless they have this.

” Daddy holds up a key and locks the harness in place.

“And here is the leash. It is long, but I am going to keep it shorter so when you aren’t in my arms, you won’t be far away from me. ”

I nod and relax a little more. I didn’t think Daddy was going to actually take these measures to make me feel safe and calm. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that Daddy has done so much for me to make me feel this way. He has gone far beyond what I ever expected.

“Thank you,” I whisper.

“You don’t need to thank me.” Daddy leans down and kisses my forehead. “Are you ready to go no

“Yes, Daddy.”

He picks me up and holds me close as we walk out of the apartment and into the elevator.

I have only been on this a handful of times whenever Daddy has brought me to work with him.

He works one building over from the apartment, but every time we have gone out, I haven’t really looked at the surroundings.

“Is there really a swing?” I ask.

“Yes, there is. Have you ever been on one?” he asks.

I shake my head. “We didn’t have them on the space station.”

“So what did you play with when you were growing up?” he asks, stepping off the elevator.

I shrug. “We didn’t really have much to play with.

There were books that some of us got to color in, but not very often.

We had some schooling, but other than that, we helped around the space station.

We had our own little roles to keep things running smoothly.

I don’t really remember much from when we were younger. I try not to think about it too much.”

It was the most depressing part of my life. Constantly being told to go back to your room or to go do more chores than you needed to.

“Well, when you want to come out to play on the swing, let me know. I won’t be able to take you every time, but we will make it a priority to come as often as we can,” Daddy gently says.

“And if you want to color or draw, let me know. I have some paper and we can get crayons or pens for you to color with.”

Tears pool in my eyes as I look at Daddy. “Really?”

He nods and wipes away the tears from my cheeks. “Yes, really. If you want to do it, just ask me. I will let you do it and more. Within reason.”

I lean my head on his chest as he steps out of the building and takes a right instead of left toward his office.

“Thank you,” I whisper.

He kisses my forehead. “I want you to have the best life on Venkoria. I want to spoil you.”

I let out a sigh of contentment and look around. It’s all tall buildings with people walking around. They all look stoic as they go from one destination to the other, some people greeting each other as they pass by. But the more I look at the people, the more I realize one thing.

All males.

I don’t see any females in sight.

“Do you not have females on Venkoria?” I ask. “How do you have so many males?”

“We do have females, but they do not need us to get pregnant. They live in communities together. They don’t need us,” Daddy explains.

“So you’ve never had sex with one?” I ask, keeping my head on his chest.

“I have, but it was many, many years ago. It wasn’t out of love, but out of necessity. But you don’t have to worry, none of the females will feel any emotions toward us. They won’t be jealous if they see me with you,” Daddy quickly adds.

“Interesting,” I mumble as I rub my thumb across my chin before looking at Daddy. “What about when we have sex? Will…” My cheeks flush at the thought.

“Will what?” Daddy asks.

“Will I get pregnant?” I quickly ask and look away from him.

“No, you won’t get pregnant, so you don’t need to worry. You are it for me. There is no room for anyone else, including children.”

I relax in his arms. I don’t think I would have liked to get pregnant and have to share him with someone else. If I could have gotten pregnant, would he have made me become an adult and do everything for me?

Yuckie.

I don’t want to do that, and, thankfully, I don’t have to.

“We are here. Do you want to swing?” Daddy asks.

I pull my head away from him. In the park, there are two different types of swings. One looks like I would sit in it and put my legs through two holes, whereas the other is just a long strip.

“I don’t know if I am ready to let go of you,” I whisper.

“That is fine. We can sit on this one. You can hold onto me, and we can swing together,” Daddy states and walks over to the one with a long strip. “I have never been on one of these before.”

I tilt my head to the side. “You haven’t? Then why do you have them?”

“One of the earlier girls mentioned she wanted to try to swing, so we had them installed,” Daddy explains. “We thought we would add in two different styles, in case the female didn’t want to let go of their owner. Kind of like right now.”

“Smart thinking,” I softly say as I lean my head on Daddy’s chest.

“Do you want to face outwards?” Daddy asks.

“No,” I mumble. “I want to stay like this while you swing with me on your lap. Almost like a rocking chair.”

Oh, how I would love for him to hold me in a rocking chair. I would slowly fall asleep in his arms. I’d be completely comfortable and safe.

“Rocking chair?” he asks as he sits down and places my legs on either side of his body.

I hum.

“Why a rocking chair? Is there something significant about it?” He slowly starts to swing back and forth.

“It is soothing. The calm, repetitive motion while I have my head resting on your chest, eyes closed, feeling safe and comfortable. I’ve always wanted to fall asleep on one, but we didn’t have them on the space station.

Even if we did, I would have no one to hold me.

I wouldn’t want to sit in it alone. It would stop rocking when I fall asleep.

That ruins the whole purpose of it,” I explain, relaxing further into his arms.

“Is that so?” he mutters.

“I’ve seen them on videos. Mothers rocked their babies to sleep while they held them, or old people sat on them and looked out at their land.

” I chuckle to myself. “All for research purposes, so we knew what people did on Earth. I don’t think they realized how jealous it would make us, and how much longing we would feel.

But it’s okay. I’ve come to terms with a lot of things not happening in my life. ”

Just saying those words sounds depressing. But it’s reality when it comes to our lives on the space station.

“I can have a rocking chair made, so we can rock when I put you down for a nap,” Daddy offers.

I pull my head back and look at Daddy, who is already gazing down at me. “Really?” I whisper.

“Yes, Little Pet. You talk about it so fondly, even though you have never experienced it. I want to experience it with you. I will have one made so that we can use it together,” he tells me.

Tears threaten, but I quickly put my face in his chest and take a deep breath.

“Thank you,” I whisper.

And to think that I was so nervous and didn’t want to be anywhere near Daddy when we met. To think that I thought he wanted to kill me.

Daddy is making all my dreams come true without a fuss. He wants to do it, even if I tell him that we don’t need to.

“What else do you want to do that you never were able to?” Daddy asks.

“Ummm.” I hold onto his shirt as I try to think.

My mind is coming up blank. Panic flows through me as I can’t think of anything.

“Shh, you’re okay. You don’t need to decide right now. When we get home, I can give you a tablet so any time you think of anything, you can type it on the tablet. Then we can slowly do as many as we can. I don’t know if we will be able to do all of the, but we will try our best,” Daddy gently says.

“I want to color,” I blurt out. “We didn’t get to do a lot of that since there were many of us on the space station and only a little paper. I want to be able to color outside the lines and see my artwork .”

Daddy runs his hands through my hair before he starts to push and swing us again.

“How about you can color on the tablet? And I can also give you an e-reader so you can read and occupy your mind. ,” Daddy says proudly.

My heart warms at his words.

“Thank you,” I say and sigh.

Life is a lot better than I thought it would be on Venkoria. And to think I had this crazy idea that Daddy was going to send me back to the space station. How miserable my life would have been, and how much I would have missed out on.

“Any time, Little Pet.” Daddy kisses the top of my head.
