THIRTY-FOUR
DAKOTA
The stories around campus hadn’t entirely died down yet. Most students simply didn’t care enough, but the ones that did, made sure that I knew how much of a slut they thought I was.
According to both Celeste, Daisy and Solace, if rumors were true then everyone was just jealous that they couldn’t have sex with Logan first or even at all. Regardless, it had become exhausting.
It was weird being in this classroom, knowing Logan wasn’t going to enter soon.
“Think she’ll sleep with this one too?” a tall blonde murmured to her redhead friend beside her.
“If he’s rich, maybe,” the redhead smirked and both girls stopped in front of me.
I hadn’t even sat down yet, and I was already being forced to deal with them.
The students were slowly filing in through the door, but the ones who were already here, heard what they had just said.
“I’ll sleep with your dad if you don’t shut up,” I shrugged and her eyes narrowed on me. She stepped forward, but Solace was quick to jump up from her seat.
“My dad would never have sex with a whore like—”
She was cut off by Celeste grabbing her ponytail and yanking her head back. “What was that?”
“Oh my God,” she groaned but Celeste tugged her even harder. “Let go!”
“Speak about Dakota again, and I’ll gladly shove my foot up your ass,” she forced through her teeth. “You want that?”
“Celeste, let go!” she irritably demanded and Celeste released her with a shove and she knocked into me.
I grabbed the sides of both her arms, holding her in place. “I bet your daddy would have so much fun with a slut like me,” I whispered and she tugged herself away from me but my grip only tightened. “This isn’t high school. Cut the mean girl facade.”
She scoffed, prying herself from my arms and stepped back. “I’ll be sure to find you again when your guard dogs aren’t around,” she assured me, whipping around and coming face to face with Celeste.
“Woof,” Celeste grinned, before bumping shoulders with her and I watched her—and her little friend—scurry down and to their seats.
Solace chuckled at Celeste, who simply winked in response. “Oh, Daffodil,” Celeste cooed, approaching me with open arms. “Don’t listen to her,” she swung her arms around me, embracing me in a warm, comforting hug.
I felt Solace’s hand on my arm, and couldn’t help but smile.
When the news made headlines here on campus, the first thing the girls said to me was that they knew it wasn’t true. I hated lying to them, but I didn’t have a choice.
And Celeste being… well Celeste, she made sure to stop by this class every time I was inside for moments like this. I constantly told her that it wasn’t necessary, but she refused to listen. I was still appreciative though. To all of my girls.
* * *
I slammed my bedroom door shut at my moms apartment, tossed my bag on my desk chair and pulled out my cellphone.
Kaden texted that Logan would be busy for two hours, and then he was all mine.
An ache shot through my heart, and slowly, I lowered myself to my bed. I hadn’t seen Logan in almost a month. We couldn’t risk it. The only communication we had was through Kaden, since, well, Chase was also a professor and I couldn’t text or call him. So, we used Kaden’s cellphone.
I dragged my sorrowful thoughts with me to the bathroom and prepared myself a relaxing bath before getting out and slipping into one of Logan’s t-shirts that Kaden had dropped off the other day.
Thankfully, I still get to see Kaden everyday when he visited. Chase and Logan on the other hand… I could only see them through a screen. I hated it.
Something that kept rendering in the back of my mind was one night after I got out of the shower, he was on a phone call. The last words he said were “Just get it done,” and he ended the call. Later that night I saw that De Luca was the last person he called. It made me uneasy.
I was laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling when my laptop rang to my left. I nearly jumped up, looking down at the screen to see Kaden’s name pop up.
I scrambled to slip my robe on before laying back down. My heart hammered in anticipation but when Logan appeared, every aching feeling disappeared.
My smile widened. “Hi.”
“Someone looks happy to see me.”
He was seated in his office, behind his desk, wearing his usual white dress shirt, except the first two buttons were undone. He’s so handsome.
Catching up with him felt like a breath of fresh air, and by now, I was laying on my back with my laptop beside me.
I smiled—shyly—still staring at the ceiling. “I missed you.”
A grin stretched across his lips. “Yeah?”
I nodded, avoiding eye contact because even through the screen Logan Hale made butterflies flutter in my stomach.
“And what exactly do you miss?” he leaned back in his chair, slowly lifting his hips.
I couldn’t hide my smile and slightly turned my head to him. “I miss…” I trailed off. “How good you taught our class,” I seemingly paused to think. “And how much of an amazing tutor you were,” I added, watching him brush his tongue on the inside of his cheek.
“What else?”
“No,” I shook my head. “That’s about it.”
I stared up at the ceiling again, biting back a smile.
“Are you home alone?”
I shrugged. “Depends.”
“Dakota.”
“Yes, sir,” I turned my head. “I am home alone.”
His eyes held a dangerous storm that lured me to him. My heart was racing and slowly, the pulsing slipped between my thighs.
“I also miss being close to you,” I confessed. “Being in your arms… feeling you… kissing you.”
My mind wandered to the last time he and I were intimate, and something strong snaked around my heart, squeezing it relentlessly.
“When can I see you again?” I looked up, and could tell he didn’t want to answer that. “I really miss you, Logan.”
His answer was reluctant. “Soon.”
I sighed, but when I realised that me being sad made him unhappy too, I forced a smile. “Soon sounds too far away,” I piped up.
I turned, propping myself up on my forearms and made an effort to expose my chest. I purposely wore my silk robe—no bra, no panties. “Why not now?”
He didn’t meet my eyes, his stare locked on my chest. “Mhm.”
This time, my smile was genuine. “My eyes are up here, Professor Hale.”
His eyes lifted to mine, and I didn’t miss how he uncomfortably shifted in his chair.
“Everything okay?” I teased.
He leaned his elbow on the armrest of his chair and gently ran his fingers up and down his jaw. “Lay down and spread your legs.”
A faint blush coated my cheeks and I swallowed hard. I moved my laptop before laying down and placing my feet flat on my bed. Then, I spread my legs in front of the screen.
A groan of frustration slipped from him, and I stared up at the ceiling with a heaving chest.
“Now, slip your hand between your thighs and open yourself for me.”
Curling my bottom lip between my teeth, I squeezed my eyes shut, imagining that it was his hand moving down my stomach.
I used two fingers to spread myself for him.
“Fuck baby,” he sucked air through his teeth, and the image alone sent more arousal flooding to between my legs.
“My pretty little pussy is already crying for me.”
My mouth gaped open with a whimper as my brows squeezed together. He had such a filthy mouth and God, did I love it.
My fingers found my clit, and slowly, I rubbed it to soothe the ache. My fingers slipped lower, and when they were coated in my arousal I trailed them back up and over my clit. “Logan,” I breathed, my eyelids growing heavy.
“Faster,” he commanded and I increased my pace. My back arched off the bed and I refrained from squeezing my thighs together.
The sound of my wet fingers pumping in and out of me filled the silence and he groaned, lifting his hips to slip his hand to his lap. The thought of him touching himself because of me made my toes curl.
I spread my legs further, giving him a clean view between my thighs and I didn’t miss his subtle whimper—his lustful gaze locked between my legs.
“That’s a good fucking slut,” he praised, and I squeezed around my fingers, desperately wishing he was inside of me. He glanced down at his lap and I tossed my head back, arching off the mattress.
“Logan,” I sighed, feeling my orgasm creep up. “Please—“
“Not yet,” he whimpered, his head rolling back against his headrest. His lips slightly parted with his eyes brows drawn close together with a pleasurable pain etched across his face.
The sight of him pleasing himself sent heat growing in my core. Knowing he was getting off because of me pushed me further to the edge.
“Fuck, baby, say my name,” he groaned and I could feel my arousal leaking between my legs.
I opened my mouth, but the overwhelming pleasure made it difficult to speak. All I could utter was his name, over and over and over until he whimpered, coming all over his lap. I came down from the intense high too, allowing my legs to fall flat.
I caught my breath and my eyes fluttered closed.
When my eyes finally landed on him, he had his head thrown back, eyes closed and a satisfied grin pulling at his lips. I smiled too.
He looked down at his lap then at me, slowly giving his head a slight shake.
I chuckled, a tear escaping from the corner of my eye but I quickly wiped it away.
His head tilted in concern, but I could only offer my best and most convincing smile.
“What’s wrong?”
I immediately shook my head. “Nothing.”
Fighting back tears, I sat up. “I have to go, but call me tomorrow?” I asked and he reluctantly nodded. “Bye,” I ended the call and fell back, squeezing my eyes shut with a quivering bottom lip. I miss him so bad.
My hand clamped over my mouth as a tremor hit me, and I allowed my tears to roll. Sniffling quietly, my eyes stayed closed for a little while longer.
Eventually, I rolled out of bed and got cleaned up. I placed my laptop on my desk before crawling into bed. I snuggled with the purple teddy bear Logan had gotten for me, attempting to comfort myself. It smelled like him too.
Soon, my cellphone chimed, and I reached over to pick it up, reading the text message.
Mom: You up?
