Chapter 15 #4

“I know that’s the fuck right! Take the whole muthafuckin door off and come get your bitch!

That’s my type of nigga; he gangsta wit it.

I hope my bitches come get me like that.

As a matter of fact, let me tell one of my hoes it’s over and see what she do.

This that type of unhinged shit I need. Welp, Fev, we’ll see you later. ” Jaz fell out laughing.

“Correct, because this is real love right here.” Kasia smiled.

I couldn’t believe Legacy had Rome take my door off the hinges. I still don’t know how the fuck that happened.

“What are you doing?” I snapped..

Rome’s crazy ass laughed like I said something funny. “Girl is you slow? He asked looking at me confused as hell. “You don’t know a break-in when you see one?”

“I’m fighting for what’s mine. You can’t think for one second that I’m going to let you do this alone.

I fucking love you. And yes, I’m angry as hell, but I’m angry because I’m going to lose the best thing that’s ever happen to me.

You came in my life and stole my heart. I asked you a while ago what was the one thing that you dreamed of doing in your lifetime, and do you remember what that was?

” Legacy asked, as the tears freely ran down his face and mine.

“I said I wanted to get married.” I smiled through my tears.

“Yeah, that’s what you said, and I want the same for the both of us.

This isn’t because you’re sick, it’s because I’m in love with you and I want you as my wife until you take your last breath, even if it is for a little while,” he said and got down on one knee pulling out the most beautiful ring I’d ever seen.

“Forever More, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” He smiled, and I was in a fit of tears.

“I love you, baby. Yes… Yes, I’ll marry you.” I jumped into his arms and kissed the hell out of this man. He slid the ring on my finger, and I just admired the big ass rock.

“Sorry about your door but don’t ever play with me like that again. He’ll put it back on.” We both fell out laughing. “Our birthday is tomorrow, and I want to do it then,” he said, and my eyes got big as hell.

“Tomorrow! How can we do it so quick?” I asked.

“Trust me, it can be done. Now you tell me how you want to do it. Would you like a big ceremony with a wedding gown and bridesmaids?”

“No, I don’t care about that. I care about marrying you.

I have a dress. I bought it years ago so that if or when I got married, it could be that dress.

It’s in my closet. I never thought I’d use it, but it’s there.

I said if I didn’t use it, I would leave it for Hanii.

” My heart was smiling on the inside; I couldn’t believe this was happening.

Once the door was back on, we went upstairs and brought our birthday in the right way.

We made love for hours, and I was wishing that this love would last forever.

The next morning, we were standing in front of the judge with Hanii, Jaz, Kasia, Zelly, and Rome as our witnesses.

My dream dress still fit but it was a little loose because of my weight loss.

Nevertheless, it was beautiful, and I felt beautiful in it.

Kasia did my make-up, and my hair was already done a couple of days ago so I just added a few flexi rods to give it more bounce.

Legacy looked so handsome in his black tux and his haircut was neat and crisp.

We ran out and got Hanii a beautiful dress and she was so damn pretty.

She was so excited that we were getting married.

“Forever, do you take Legacy to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward?” The judge asked, looking at me.

“I do.” I smiled, and Legacy wiped the tear from my eyes.

“Legacy, do you take Forever to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward?” The judge asked him.

“I do.”

“By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. Legacy, you may kiss your bride,” the judge said, and my husband wasted no time.

Our little family cheered us on. I hated that Legacy was going through it with his family.

I knew he was going through it by not having them there.

I couldn’t believe it; I was married to the man that came in and changed my life forever.

“Daddy, I know it’s going to hurt. But I can’t call you boyfriend no more’ cause you’re my daddy now,” Hanii told him, and my God, my heart was full.

“I sure am, Butterfly. And I’ll always protect and love you. That’s my promise to you,” he said, kissing her cheek and sliding a ring with a little diamond on her finger. I swear when he did that, we were all in here in tears.

“I can’t take too much more,” Zelly said, fanning her eyes. She was a damn mess because she knew what he was planning and made sure Hanii and I had on a pair of red bottoms for the occasion. Zelly and I have become so close, you would’ve thought we’d been friends for years.

“Congratulations you two.” Jaz hugged the both of us.

We left the courthouse and went to have lunch with our family, and after that, Legacy and I checked into The Luxe for my birthday surprise for him. I booked a suite, hired a chef, and had the suite decorated. I never canceled the plans because I was still going to spend my birthday here.

“Wow! Thank you, Mrs. Porter,” he said as he opened his birthday gift. I bought him a new painting set and canvases. He got me a diamond necklace and bracelet.

“This is the most amazing day of my life. I love you so much.” I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed my husband.

We stayed glued together for the next few days.

I started feeling bad, and I fought so hard not to tell him how I was feeling, but he could see it and we ended up going to the doctors and checking out of the hotel earlier then planned.

I’m on cloud nine, and I never wanted to come down.

This moment was etched in my memories, and I would take it with me to heaven for sure.
