Chapter 9 The Confrontation at School

After thinking it over for a while, I posted a thread on the confession wall.

[Fake boyfriend for half a day, paid, urgent!]

Soon, several people added me.

I flipped through Moments and chose a young and refined one.

It matched my taste, so it would be more realistic to act.

He was still a junior major.

After explaining the situation for ten minutes, he came to the girls' dorm building to pick me up.

The senior was polite and talkative, so the atmosphere was fine.

When we were about to pass Xie Yiran's section of the road, I linked arms with him.

The senior froze, and his ears turned red under the streetlight.

I deliberately leaned close to his ear to comfort him.

"Relax, senior, it's just acting!"

"Alright, alright!"

Of course, this scene was seen by Xie Yiran.

I walked past him with a chill running through my body, and his dark eyes narrowed.

I deliberately pretended to not notice.

Xie Yiran stood up abruptly, his presence overwhelming.

"Xue Ling, come here!"

My heart skipped a beat.

I hadn't seen him angry like this in a long time.

The last time was when I almost got harassed by hooligans.

He beat them up with such ferocity that they had no chance to fight back.

I was scared and my legs went weak.

Now, I suppressed the panic rising in my heart.

I turned with a calm face.

"This is my boyfriend."

He didn't speak, just stared at me fixedly.

The light and shadow played across his face.

The veins on the back of his hands bulged.

After a while, his voice turned colder.

The corners of his eyes were slightly red.

"Xue Ling, do you dare to play with me like that?!"

I pulled the senior and walked away.

Xie Yiran gritted his teeth.

"You have guts."
