The Moment His Heart Began to Doubt #3
"That boy... Just like his dad. Never listened to me."She shook her head.
Upstairs, Aarav entered his room and closed the door.
He stood there silently.
His mother's words continued echoing in his mind.
Do you love Aditi? He had always thought the answer was simple .
But lately...
Nothing about his feelings seemed simple anymore.
At the plane : ???? ??

The plane finally touched down.
After a long journey, the wheels met the runway with a soft.
Aditi looked out through the window.
The lights of the airport blurred slightly through the glass as the aircraft slowly moved toward the terminal.
For several seconds, she simply sat there. Her hand rested protectively over her bag.
A small smile appeared on her face.
She had been thinking about this moment for weeks.
She had kept her news to herself.
She hadn't told her family. She hadn't told Aarav. She wanted to see their reactions herself.
Especially Aarav's. Her love. Her boyfriend.
She imagined his face when he saw her standing in front of him.
Would he be shocked?Would he smile?Would he be angry that she had kept such a huge secret?
Or would he simply pull her into a hug without saying anything?
The thought made her smile again.
Aditi whispered to herself, "Aarav... I wonder what your face will look like when you see me."
The plane finally came to a complete stop.
Passengers began gathering their belongings.
Aditi stood and took her handbag.
Before leaving her seat, she glanced at her phone.
There was already a message waiting for her. It's her friend Asha.
' I'm outside. Don't take forever.'
Aditi smiled. She quickly typed a reply.
' I'm coming. Don't complain too much.'
She slipped her phone into her bag and followed the other passengers.
A Few Minutes Later...
After collecting her luggage, Aditi finally stepped into the arrival area.
She looked around...
There were people everywhere.
Families waiting with flowers. Friends holding signs. Children running toward their parents.
And then...
"Aditi! Look here!!.."A familiar voice called her name.
Aditi immediately turned . A girl standing a short distance away waved excitedly.
"Asha!" Aditi called her name.
Aditi pulled her luggage behind her and walked quickly toward her friend.
The moment they reached each other, they hugged tightly.
"I can't believe you're finally here!" Asha exclaimed, squeezing her friend.
"I know! I missed you so much."Aditi laughed.
"Let me look at you."Asha pulled back and looked at her carefully.
"What?"Aditi looked confused at her friend.
" You're still beautiful. I was expecting you to come out of that plane looking like a completely different person." Asha said.
"You're impossible."Aditi rolled her eyes.
"Give me that. You are already tired enough."Asha grabbed the handle of Aditi's suitcase.
"I can carry it." Aditi said.
"I know you can. I'm still carrying it." Asha said and carried her suitcase.
"Thanks ."Aditi smiled.
They started walking toward the exit.
Asha suddenly looked at her.
"So..How are you planning to surprise your boyfriend?"
Aditi immediately knew what was coming. Her cheeks immediately turned slightly pink.
"I don't know yet." Aditi said.
"Don't give me that innocent face. You have clearly planned everything."Asha laughed.
"Maybe a little." Aditi said and looked away.
"A little!!You flew all this way without telling him, arranged everything secretly, and you're telling me it's just a little?"Asha stopped walking dramatically.
Aditi laughed...
"Okay, fine. Maybe I planned it. I just wanted to surprise him." Aditi said.
"Do you have any idea how he's going to react?" Aditi raised an eyebrow.
"I've imagined it a hundred times.I may know what he's going to do."Aditi smile became softer.
"What do you think he will do?"Asha looked at her curiously.
"He'll stand there completely shocked for five seconds...and then he'll finally realize that his girlfriend has actually returned." Aditi said.
Asha paused dramatically and Aditi laughed.
"Oh, look at you! You're already blushing." Asha said looking at Aditi.
"Please stop."Aditi covered her cheeks with one hand.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop."Asha burst out laughing.
They continued walking toward the exit. After reaching outside, Asha looked around for a taxi.
"Come on. Let's get going." Asha said.
"Yeah."Aditi nodded.
They placed Aditi's luggage inside the trunk and got into the back seat.
Asha sat beside her. The taxi pulled away from the airport.
For a few moments, neither spoke.
Aditi looked out of the window at the passing city lights.
