Chapter 135
The tension was so thin in the air that it could be cut by a knife.
The room was filled with silence, the kind of silence which was scarier than any scolding.
The large room suddenly felt so suffocated and tensed.
Advait was daggering holes in their bodies.
His arms were draped over his chest with an unforgiving look on his face.
Aditya, Arush, Vanya and Sadhwi were looking down in fear.
Their hands were neatly folded behind their backs and heads were buried between the shoulders.
"I want each and every detail." Advait spoke up, his voice was calm.
No one said anything. They were not even breathing loudly.
"Speak up." Advait raised his voice making them flinch.
"Bha-Bhaiya, humne sneak out... karke bike ride karne ka plan banaya tha....
"Aur police station pahunchne ka plan kiska tha?" Advait asked glaring in her soul.
She looked down without any answer. Advait marched towards her making all of them backed off in fear. He gripped her ear harshly before twisting it.
"Abhi kuch dino pehle hi tune ghar se sneak out kiya tha na? Dubara repeat karte time sharam bhi nahi aayi?" He asked sternly.
Vanya stomped her heels in pain, "Bhaiya, lag rahi hai...oww." She said in pain, her eyes were shimmering with the tears.
Sadhwi gulped down in fear but spoke up slowly, "Sir, Vanya mam ki galati nahi hai." She said in a barely audible voice but Advait caught her words because the room was filled with silence.
Advait left Vanya's ear and shifted her attention towards Sadhwi, "Bolo?"
She meekly looked up, "Vanya mam ki galati nahi hai, unhone to mana kiya tha hum logo ne hi unhe f-force kiya."
"Tumhe maine mana kiya tha na in gadho ke saath mat rehna bigad jaogi?" He asked her.
She slowly nodded her head.
"Magar ek baar me baat to samajh me aati nahi hai haina?" He scolded harshly making the tears rush in her eyes.
Advait noticed the tears, "Maara maine tumhe?" He asked strictly.
She shook her head while sniffling.
"To ro kyun rahi ho?" He asked, "Aansu pocho." He said and she wiped off her tears with the back of her hand with a pout on her face.
Advait looked at Aditya and Arush before shaking his head in disappointment, "Kiski permission se bahar gaye tum?" He asked in a cold and measured tone.
Aditya shuddered in fear.
"Aditya Advait Malhotra ko kisi ki permission ki jarurat nahi hai." Arush mumbled under his breath.
But Advait heard him and gripped his ear before giving it a twist, "Jyada jubaan chalne gayi hai?" He asked.
"Oww bhaiya, maine aisa nahi bola. Adi bhai ne bola tha." Arush said, his face was twisted in pain.
Aditya widened his eyes in betrayal, "M-Maine?" He asked with stutter.
Advait just glared at him but didn't say anything to him. He left Arush's ear and walked to the wall where a polished cane was hanging. He took off a cane from the wall and marched towards them making them gulp in fear.
"Bhaiya, maarna mat please." Arush requested, backing off.
"Ye sab galatiyaan karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha." Advait replied.
"Tum logo ko samajha kar bhi koi fayda nahi hai.
Sneak out kiya to kiya bahar jaa kar bike racing bhi ki.
Tumhe pata hai ye illegal hai? Aur agar legal bhi ho to tum logo ko apni jaan se koi pyar nahi hai?
Atleast khud ke baare me na sahi to apne family ke baare me hi sochte.
Tumhe kuch ho jata to?" Advait scolded them making them feel guilty.
"Ghar se bahar kaise nikle?" Advait asked and the room erupted in a chilling silence.
"Jawab do." He shouted.
"Peeche wali wall se jump karke." Arush replied in one breath earning himself a hard whack on his arm.
"Kitni baar mana kiya hai ye harkatein mat kiya karo chot lag jayegi. Kitni baar mana kiya hai?" He scolded in a harsh voice.
He shifted his gaze on Aditya and Arush, "Aur tum dono ko sharam aani chahiye. Tumhari wajah se ghar ki ladkiyon ko police station jana pada. Na to apni izzat ka khayal hai aur na dusro ki." He said in a harsh tone.
"Sorry bhaiya." Aditya whispered.
"Don't you dare say sorry to me. Tere sorry bolne ka koi fayda nahi hai, karna tujhe wahi hai jo tu chahta hai and don't worry beta tujhe to mai alag se handle karunga." He informed him making him scared.
"Humein apni galati realize ho rahi hai, bhaiya. We are really sorry." Vanya said in a low voice.
"Kneel down. All of you." Advait ordered.
Aditya quickly kneel down on the hard floor to decrease his punishment. Arush, Sadhwi and Vanya followed him and kneeled down on the polished floor.
"Raise your hands straight in the air." Advait further said making them cry internally but they slowly raised up their hands in the air.
He kept standing before them. His eyes were fixed on them.
Every slight shuffle, their faces twisting in pain and aching hands hadn't go unnoticed by him but he kept firm.
The moment Aditya slightly kept his hand down, the cane landed on his back making him scream with the sudden hit.
His body jerked forward with the force and he forced back his tears.
The others quickly corrected their postures in fear of anticipation.
It had been thirty minutes since they were kneeling in this position.
Advait gave a few strikes to Aditya and Arush when they broke their positions.
"Straight." Advait said firmly to Sadhwi whose hands were resting over her head.
She quickly kept them straight. Their hands were aching and legs were screaming in pain. Their legs had turned numb because of kneeling for a long time on a hard floor.
Advait striked Arush's hand when he kept it down to relax for a second. A lone tear escaped off his eyes burning Advait's heart but he looked away.
"Bhaiya, bohot pain ho raha hai." Vanya said in a weak voice.
"Bohot acchi baat hai, beta." Advait replied in a calm tone.
Advait walked to his chair before sitting down on it. He had started using his laptop but he was watching them from the corner of his eyes. After twenty more minutes, he glanced up and looked at their teary and struggling faces. He felt pity on them and sighed.
"Stand up." He ordered and they slumped down their hands before slowly standing up.
They stretched out their legs and rubbed their hands to make the blood flow.
"100 sit-ups." Advait said making their eyes widened in horror.
"Bhaiya.....
Arush was about to say when Advait cut him off with his glare.
They slowly gripped their ears and started squatting down.
Their energy were drained, their condition were disheveled but they kept going with the struggle.
After sixty five, Sadhwi's legs gave up and she sat down with her unsteady breathing.
Advait hit the cane on the table making her flinch, "Motivation chahiye?" He asked.
She nervously shook her head and managed to continue her punishment.
They all completed the hundred sit-ups with difficulty and stood up straight.
Vanya and Sadhwi's faces were soaked with the tears.
The corner of Arush's eyes were prickling with the tears.
Aditya was still standing, looking down. His face was etched with guilt.
"Sorry, bhaiya." Vanya whispered.
"Tum dono ki bike keys mujhe yahan chahiye." Advait said to Aditya and Arush pointing at the table.
"Aur tum sab grounded ho. Ghar se college aur college se ghar agar beech me kahi bhi gaye na to aaj jo hua wo trailor lagne lagega." He warned and they gulped down in fear.
"Bhaiya, mujhe dish duty ki punishment bhi dedo na please." Arush spoke up and everyone snapped their heads towards him.
Advait marched towards him before landing the two hard whacks on his back, "Idiot." Advait muttered.
"Leave." Advait just said this when they all quickly started running from there but Advait's voice stopped them.
"Aditya." He called, "Tu yaheen ruk." He instructed.
Aditya's face turned pale in fear. Vanya and Arush looked at him with sympathetic eyes but Sadhwi smirked mischievously and whispered, "All the best, bhai." Aditya glared at her soul and she quickly ran away from there. Arush and Vanya followed her outside with sad faces.
Aditya meekly turned his face back and Advait was already standing behind him making him scared. He quickly maintained a safe distance with him.
"Bh-Bhaiya, I'm sorry." He stuttered.
"Sorry for what?" Advait asked calmly.
Aditya nearly cried, "Sneak out karne ke liye?" He asked.
"Puch raha hai ya bata raha hai?" Advait asked.
"Ba-Bata raha hoon, bhaiya." He whispered.
Advait looked at him in silence before forwarding the cane towards him making him flinch, "Pakad isey." Advait said calmly.
Aditya blinked his eyes in confusion, "Pakad." Advait said firmly.
Aditya loosely gripped the cane in his hand while looking down.
"Ab maar mujhe." Advait ordered making Aditya's head snapped up.
"Bh-Bhaiya ye aa...
"Sunai nahi diya?" Advait raised his voice, "Maar mujhe." He repeated.
Aditya was looking at him in disbelief, his fingers were loosely gripped around the cane and face was etched with the confusion, "Ye aap kya bol rahe hain, bhaiya?" He asked.
"Sahi bol raha hoon." Advait replied, "Tujhe maar kar to koi fayda nahi hai, maine bohot baar kar ke bhi dekh liya par tujhpar koi asar nahi hota islie tu mujhe maar.
Waise bhi galati to meri hi hai mai hi tujhe sahi galat seekha nahi paya.
Kisi ko rishwat dena kitna bada offense hota hai mai tujhe seekha hi nahi paya tabhi to tune kal wo harkat ki haina.
Maine teri galat parwarish ki to saza bhi to mujhe milni chahiye na.
Maar mujhe." Advait said, his voice was calm and steady but the bite in his tone was clearly noticeable.
Aditya left the cane and it hit the ground making a sound. His face was ducked between his shoulders in shame. Advait's every word was clawing at his heart. He was feeling humiliated by Advait's words. Advait could clearly see the effect of his words on Aditya's face but kept silent.
"Utha isey aur maar mujhe." Advait said sharply to make him obey.
Aditya's eyes filled with the tears because of the shame and humiliation he was feeling. He kneeled down and held his ears to ask for an apology, "Sorry bhaiya, galati ho gayi." He said without looking up at him.
"Galati to aap se bohot hoti hai, beta. Par aaj ke baad nahi hogi kyunki jab tak tu mujhe maarega nahi mai tujhe jaane nahi dunga." Advait stated.
A lone tear fell down on Aditya's cheek and he looked up at Advait with the tearful eyes making Advait looked away. He couldn't see Aditya in tears as he was the one who rarely cried.
"Koi bhi saza de dijiye bhaiya par ye nahi please." He requested, "Aap mujhe bahar garden me sabke saamne murga bana dijiye par ye mat karwaiye please."
Advait's arms were draped over his chest. His face was set in a stern look.
His eyes were locking into Aditya's tearful face.
He slowly shook his head, "Un sabka koi fayda nahi hai na, baccha.
Mai to wahi saza dunga na jiska koi asar ho aap par and I hope ye saza poori karne ke baad jo bhi tumhare dimaag me kachra bhara hai wo khatam ho jaye. " He said.
"Chal uth." Advait told him but Aditya kept sitting there on the floor. Advait gripped him by his shoulders and made him stand in front of him. He picked up the cane and handed it to Aditya.
"Chal maar." Advait repeated.
Aditya shook his head.
"Nahi maarega?" He asked.
Aditya again shook his head.
"Ye izzat tab kahan gayi thi jab tu kal police ko rishwat de raha tha? Tab to tujhe meri izzat nahi dikhi?" Advait asked sternly.
Aditya cried, nearly choking on his tears. He had started sobbing, his gaze was fixed at the floor in shame more than the fear. Advait turned his back at him and closed his eyes to calm his mind.
"Leave." Advait said but Aditya hugged him from behind.
"I'm sorry, bhaiya. Ab se nahi karunga promise." He said while sobbing, "Kabhi sneak out nahi karunga....
Advait turned back and gripped his ear, "Mai sneak out karne ke liye gussa hoon?" He asked firmly.
Aditya silently looked down, the tears were streaming down on his face.
"Agar bas sneak out kiya hota na to maaf bhi kar deta magar uske baad jo tune kiya wo bilkul galat tha.
Apni jaan ko risk me daal kar bike racing ki, rule break kiye aur pakde jaane ke baad police se bhaage aur phir khud ko bachaane ke liye police ko rishwat dene ki koshish ki.
" Advait said, twisting his ear. The more tears spilled out of Aditya's eyes.
"Mujhe teri masti karne se koi problem nahi hai par tune galati nahi ki... rishwat dena galati nahi hoti, gunaah hota hai. Kahan se seekha hai ye?" Advait's grip was harsh around Aditya's ear turning it cherry red.
"So-Sorry." Aditya closed his eyes in pain.
"Jawab chahiye mujhe." Advait said in a strict tone.
"M-Movie me dekha tha." He replied quickly.
"Aaj ke baad mujhe TV dekhte nazar aa gaya na to teri taange tod dunga mai." Advait threatened and left his ear.
Aditya nodded his head, his hand was rubbing his sore ear.
"Jaa yahan se." Advait said.
"Maaf kariye pehle." Aditya replied stubbornly.
Advait sighed, "Abhi mera mood theek nahi hai, baad me baat karte hain." He replied.
"Please bhaiya, sacchi me galati ho gayi. Phir kabhi nahi karunga."
"Har baar ka dialogue hai ye tera. Mujhe koi baat nahi karni abhi jaa yahan se."
"Bhaiya please na, aap thappad maar lo, cane se maar lo par ye silent treatment nahi please." He requested.
"Kitna dheet ho gaya hai tu, koi darr hi nahi hai pitayi ka." Advait shook his head in exasperation.
Aditya threw himself in Advait's arms catching him off guard, "Darr hai bohot darr hai par aapke silent treatment se aur jyada darr lagta hai. Mai kuch bhi bardaasht kar sakta hoon par aapki naraazgi nahi." He said in a muffled voice as his face was pressed against Advait's shoulder.
Advait finally let out an exhale and soothingly caressed the back of Aditya's head making him feel at peace. He wrapped his arms around him and pecked the side of his head. Aditya stayed in his arms and wiped off his tears with the back of his hand.
He pulled back and glanced down with a pout, "Abhi bhi naraaz hain?" He asked.
Advait smiled and ruffled his hair before pulling him in another hug, "Mere bacchein se jyada der naraaz kaise reh sakta hoon." He replied making Aditya smile.
Advait pulled back just enough to peck his forehead with a smile, "Mera shaitaan baccha." He murmured fondly.

It was night and Advait exited his study after working for hours and headed towards his own room. He pushed open the door but surprisingly it was locked from the inside. He knocked on the door but got no response. He again knocked and Shreya opened the door with a firm look on her face.
Advait was about to entered the room when she stopped him, "Yaheen rukiye." She said.
Advait frowned, "Kyun?"
"Kaha na yaheen rukiye." She said in a sharp voice, pointing her finger at him.
Advait looked at her and stood up straight. She went inside the room and returned with the blanket and a pillow in her hand. She shoved the blanket and pillow in his arms making him confused.
"Aaj aap iss room me nahi soyenge." She stated.
Advait frowned, "Par kyun?" He asked innocently.
"Jyada masoom mat baniye, mujhe subah apni study se nikala tha na to ab mai aapko apne room se nikaal rahi hoon." She said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ye room mera bhi hai, madam." Advait replied and about to entered the room when Shreya stood in front of him.
She told him to move back with her fingers, "Move back, Mr. husband." She said.
"Par.....
"Par var kuch nahi, aaj aap iss room me nahi soyenge and that's final." She declared.
"Phir mai kahan sou?" He asked.
"Apni pyari study me jaa kar soiye." She said with a tight lipped smile and closed the door on his face.
Advait gasped in disbelief and threw the pillow and the cushions on the floor. He knocked on the door, "Love, please open the door." He said in a sweet voice.
But Shreya ignored him. He finally let out a sigh when she kept ignoring him.
He headed towards the Arush's room but Aditya and Arush were already sleeping there, hugging each other.
A faint smile appeared on Advait's face looking at his kids cuddling to each other.
After looking at them like this no one could say that they were the ones who fought the most with each other when they woke up.
Advait adjusted the blanket around them and pecked their heads before silently leaving the room.
He made his way towards the Abhishek's room who was working on his laptop. He entered the room and Abhishek stood up from his place, "Baith jaa." Advait said and moved past by him to his bed.
Advait laid down on the bed and Abhishek glanced at him carefully, "Aap aaj yahan soyenge?" He asked.
"Koi problem hai?" Advait asked, closing his eyes.
"Nahi." Abhishek shrugged, "Bhabhi ne room se nikaal diya hoga." He murmured under his breath but Advait's sharp ears caught his words. He snapped his eyes open and passed a glare in his direction.
Abhishek quickly looked away with a dramatic yawn, "Hawwhh bohot neend aa rahi hai." He said.
Advait rolled his eyes at his little act. Abhishek quickly closed his laptop and walked to the bed before jumping beside Advait. He hugged him tightly before resting his one arm on Advait's waist and his one leg on Advait's leg.
"Kamar todega kya meri? Baccha nahi hai ab tu, size dekh apna." Advait chided gently but his tone was playful.
"Aapka to baccha hi hoon na." Abhishek replied and hugged him more tightly.
Advait let out a chuckle and pecked his head murmuring a, "Good night."
