Chapter Twelve Trill #4

“Your pops was in the middle of two deals before his passing. One he was in the middle of securing a newly built luxury apartment complex. Motherfucker that was in the buying process backed out at the last minute. Y’all just need to show up there, work y’all magic and secure that shit.

That move alone will create generational wealth.

Now on some other shit, if y’all choose to fuck with that other side of things.

There are some loose ends there. I ain’t putting y’all in that shit. The choice is yours.”

“The fuck you mean exactly by loose ends?”, I asked.

“Since hearing about your dad’s passing.

The motherfucker that usually makes his drop has been MIA.

Haven’t seen the work or this nigga. I haven’t had time to deal with that shit because life have been lifing for my ass.

I have no problem getting the shit handled.

Being that y’all are the overseers of his estate now, I felt it was important to hip y’all”

“It’s safe to talk in this motherfucker?”

“I was wondering the same shit”, Savage added.

“I’m a street nigga. I don’t speak on business nowhere where shit isn’t soundproof. Besides, if a motherfucker ever decided they wanted to go against the grain, their heart will stop beating before they ever get the chance to part their lips”

By now he had my full attention. the hustler in me needed to know more.

I paid close attention to detail; Grit was on some real gangster shit.

Savage and I were too, but the shit him and our pops was on is on an entirely different level.

Shit it was obvious that these niggas were at the top of the food chain.

I had to realize that this our reality now too.

I was beginning to feel like this mission could be the first thing to help us fully step into the shoes that he left for us.

“How much work you talking?”, I asked as I leaned up in my seat.

“Let’s just say, had my brother not had any legit shit going. It would be enough to retire you niggas from the streets.”

The wheels in my head began to turn like a motherfucker.

This wasn’t a small shipment by far. This was some shit that any hood nigga would run off with.

He had to be a dumb ass nigga though. You don’t get away scott free stealing that kind of work.

I ain’t the type of nigga to let sleeping dogs lie.

Long as the motherfucker isn’t any relation to me, he got a meeting with the fuckin devil coming.

“What you thinking?”, Savage asked me.

“I’m thinking we can use the work. Our relation is going to fuck our teams up. The shit solidified though. This shit here is bigger than the crew shit. the way I see it, we get that supply back. Split the shit evenly down the middle for our crews to distribute. Let that shit be the last drop.”

“True, we got enough legit shit going that we wouldn’t need it. only thing is getting these rough neck ass niggas together. Shit bound to be a fuckin bloodbath”

“Not on my watch. Long as you can get a handle on your peoples, I got mine. It’s enough money for everybody out this motherfucker. Niggas talk about getting real money, this would be the fucking opportunity.”

“What about if a motherfucker wants to challenge this shit?”

“Any motherfucker that can’t get with the motherfuckin program becomes a fuckin problem for me. I don’t do problems.”

“Couldn’t agree with you more.”

We settled that shit and came to an agreement about how we will handle the business. legit or illegitimate. Either way, there was shit that needed to be done. Shit that only Savage and I can handle, being the sons of Giovanni Laurent.

Like Mazi, I never thought I’d see the day but here we are.

One thing this beef has taught me over the years is that we’re both strong-minded individuals.

We don’t stand down for no nigga easily.

We’ll rather lie down and die about our respect.

There wasn’t no bitching us. So together, I can imagine what type of force we would be.

This is some shit I don’t think the world is ready for.

While we were discussing business, our suits were being made.

all five of us left with ten tailored suits, shoes, with the dress shirt and ties to match.

The dress shoes may have to grow on me. The suits are already a big step for me, but I’m willing to adjust. I might fuck around and throw my forces on or some shit. I don’t know yet.

“Aye man, I know this shit is all new to the both of us.”

“It is man, we can’t undo it though. It’s time to get this cheese toast. No need to dwell on the past.”

“With that being said, I want to extend and invite to you and Mazi to come kick it with me and Ro at the R&B night on Friday. You know women love R&B, so I’m trying to go see some shit. Ya feel me? I’m a free agent out here, so a nigga is scouting”, he said laughing.

“I got my sights on some shit. We’ll fall through though. I don’t have any plans Mazi, if you’re down.”

“Shit, I’m with it man.”

“Bet, it’s up then man. I’m about to airdrop you my number and we’ll get up tomorrow on the business tip

I accepted his contact when he sent it to me. I messaged him, so that he could have my number as well. We all shook hands before going our separate ways.
