T he door opens a little while later. We waited, trusting her to come back in one piece. She slips in behind the fae, both of them sharing a knowing look as she treads deeper into the room. It’s quiet as she looks around, and it’s clear she’s uncomfortable.

She’s a strong warrior, but everyone has a weakness.

I understand the need for revenge, and when that is stolen, it changes your world. I do not blame her for her reaction, I’m even thankful for it. All this time, she has been cool, calm, and in control, so it was nice seeing her let go.
