I learned rather quickly that trust isn’t worth giving, and getting attached is dangerous. People will always find a way to disappoint you.

But none of that matters, what matters is that my nonexistent love life is about to bloom, because right when my freedom is only a fingertip away, what do I do?

I run into a leader of a damn Zaytari group. Sin Draven, a sophisticated vampire with a vocabulary to match, steps right in my path, to take me to a cushier cage than the one I was already in.

Okay, so I may have been attempting to rob him, and being put on house arrest, where I’m well taken care of, isn’t exactly a punishment, considering I was practically living on the streets before, but a cage is still a cage, cushy or not.

At least…I thought it was, until I started to break my own rules. But Sin might just be worth it. It’s funny how worries shift, and wants change when one’s necessities are finally met.

But I am worried…worried about what happens when Sin realizes I’m not good enough… Re-release Note: This version of the book is the same, except it has been re-edited, with 2 new chapters added (almost 2k new words).
