I can’t keep that nurse I met the day my godchild was born out of my head.

I seem to see her out of the corner of my eye everywhere I go.

I find myself outside her building without noticing how I got there.

I’m shopping at her local farmers’ market and following her home from work so that I can curb this craving.

She’s an obsession I’m not sure how to shake.

Until the unthinkable happens. A harmless night ride ends with a rival club seeing her on my bike, without my colors.
